Keyblade's Power Ch 80

    Ventus' Pov.

    I watched Keke and Simba walk away. I knew Keke would try to stand up for me, that's just the way she is, but I didn't want to start yet another conflict. I heard a yell, and saw Kovu run away from Zira and the other Outsiders. I ran after him.

    When I found him, he was looking into a stream. "You ok?" I asked. I saw a scar over his eye where Zira must have scratched him.

    "No. Because I failed to listen to my mother, Nuka is dead... I killed my older brother... I am like Scar."

    "No you're not! Sure, you may have similar colored fur and now a scar on your eye, but your heart is full of light, not darkness."

    Sure, you say that, but what does Simba think? He thinks that I betrayed him. And once Kiara hears it, then..." Kovu trailed off. 

    "Kovu..." I said, trying to think up a good way to tell him that Kiara will believe him. 

    "You don't understand, Ven! I never wanted my brother to get hurt because of me, and now he's gone forever! Not only that, but just when I finally got the nerve to tell Kiara about my feelings, everything goes wrong, and she'll probably hate me!" Kovu yelled.

    "I do understand. I had a friend once who was almost like an older brother to me. But then some things happened, and I don't know where he is or what happened to him. But I do know that he was trying to protect me and another one of our friends from an evil man. As for your problem with Kiara, I find it hard to believe someone like her would even hate anyone." I shot back. I took a deal breath, "Let's just head back to Pride Rock and find out."

    Well, as it turns out, that backfired. Simba ended up banishing both of us from the area, Sora and Kairi were who knows where, and Simba wouldn't let Kiara, Nala, or Keke have any say. When we were away from Pride rock, Kovu and I began to talk.

    "I knew he wouldn't listen. Who am I kidding, Kiara probably doesn't even love me." 

    "Don't put yourself down Kovu, I'm sure she feels the same way about you. After all, she was trying to talk Simba out of it, but he wouldn't listen." I said trying to cheer him up.

    "I just need some time to think, Ven." He said. I nodded and walked away.

    I began to think about what Kovu said. I knew Kiara loved him, but because of their families, they couldn't be together. I then remembered that Keke was a princess. I loved her, but did she love me back? I knew that the only reason she was traveling around was because of Xehnort, but what will happen after? Would she have to go back to Kingdom Hearts, or would she be able to stay in the worlds with us? I sighed. Keke would probably never love me. After all, the darkness has been trying to kill her since Vanitas attacked when she was younger. And if I ever lost control of him like in my dream...

    "Ven!" I looked over and saw Sora and Kairi running towards me, their faces filled with worry.

Keke's Pov.

    "Please Simba, you and Zira have to put the past behind you. Fighting to the death isn't going to help." I pleaded. He only grunted in response. The Pride was nearing the grass land where both the Pride and the Outsiders were going to fight 'till only one side's standing. Clouds began to form in the sky. and it began to rain. I had sent Sora and Kairi out to look for Ven and Kovu as soon as they came back, and Kiara had left secretly.

    

    As the fight began, Sora, Kairi, and Ventus soon joined. However, soon, Zira and Simba began to face off, only to be stopped by Kovu and Kiara.

    "You'll never hurt Kiara, or Simba, or even Ven and Keke; not while I'm here!" Kovu growled to his mother.

    "A wise king told me 'we are one'. I didn't understand him then, but now I do. Them, us, look at them, they are us. What difference do you see?" Kiara said, and one by one, the Outsiders began to realize what it meant, and left Zira.

    "I'll never let the past go! This is for you, Scar!" Zira shouted. She pounce towards Simba, and ended up rolling down a cliff. We were about to follow Simba, when a giant heartless came out of nowhere and attacked. We summoned our keyblades, and counter attacked. Sora had fought the heartless last time he came to the Pride Lands, so he pointed out its weak spots, and soon defeated it. 

    Simba had managed to rescue Kiara, and had said sorry to Ventus. He then accepted Kovu, and the other Outsiders.

    "I'm happy for Kiara and Kovu." Kairi said as Ven and I got ready to part ways with Sora and Kairi. 

    "Yep. Well, we're going to find Oswald, what are you two going to do?" I asked.

    "Well, we're going to find out more about where Terra and Aqua might be." Sora said.
