Pokemon - Leaf's Journey

    "In a minute Leaf!" She heard him call down.

    "Leaf, honey, could you please help me with these groceries?" 

    "Sure mom." Leaf ran and grabbed some of the bags. Once they were placed on the counter, footsteps were heard coming down the stairs.

    "Sorry I was up late. I kinda overslept." Red had messy brown hair and brown eyes. He had a red baseball cap with white markings matching Leaf's hat, a black t-shirt, a red and white vest, baggy blue jeans, and red, black, and grey shoes. Black bands were on his wrists.

    "Red, you lazy bum! Professor Oak wanted us to be at the Pokemon Lab an hour ago!" Leaf yelled as she grabbed her yellow bag, Red grabbing a yellow backpack.

    "Sorry, but I was having this awesome dream about being a Pokemon trainer."

    The twins had finally made it to the Pokemon Lab, and saw a boy about a year older than them with spiky brown hair, brown eyes, a black t-shirt, and purple jeans. "Well, well, well. If it isn't the looser twins. 'Bout time you showed up." 

    "Can it, Blue." Red said as they began to argue. Leaf sighed. Blue had been their best friend growing up, but that all changed when he turned into a bully. 

    "Will you two please stop fighting for five minutes?!" She yelled, tired about how they would fight at least twelve times a day. 

    "He started it!" The two boys yelled, pointing to each other. 

    "Leaf is right." The three turned their heads to see professor Oak standing in the doorway, "Blue, behave."

    "Sorry gramps." Blue said sheepishly.

    "Now, I've called you three here to give you a task. When I was young I traveled around with Pokemon at my side. I had a dream to build an encyclopedia on the Pokemon in the region. But I'm too old now and only have these three left. So I ask you this: Travel around with one of them and complete the Pokedex." He took out three pokeballs and threw them. Out came Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Charmander. "Now, you may each choose one."

    "You can go first. I'm not greedy like you, Red." Blue said. 

    "Fine then, I choose Charmander." The fire Pokemon smiled and jumped into Red's arms.

    "Charmander,char." It said happily.

    Green was about to choose when Blue said, "Ok then, I'll choose this one." He picked up Squirtle, who smiled.

    "Blue, that was rude. Didn't you see that Leaf was about to choose?"

    "No, it's ok Professor. I was going to choose Bulbasaur anyway." As if on cue, the grass type roared and went to her, rubbing it's head on her leg.

      Fifteen year old Leaf smiled at Venasaur. Who would think that four years ago that would be her sweet Bulbasaur. Many things had changed. Red had become the champion with Charizard and a Pikachu at his side, Blue had become a Gym Leader with Blastois, and she had managed to complete the Pokedex for both Kanto and Joto. 

       Red was now training on Mt. Silver, coming home every once in a while, and was quieter. Blue on the other hand had become, well, nicer. At least he never called her "looser" anymore. Then again, he stopped calling her that during the Team Rocket incident at Saffaron City. You could say the two of them were friends now. She had no idea if he still called Red that, though. Speaking of Red, he should be home-

    "Leaf? Mom? I'm home!"
